Happy New Year! (My weekend series)

Wednesday 3 January 2018

Is it just me? Or is anyone else confused what day of the week it is during Christmas and new year? I had a lovely but manic last few weeks of the year. But I’m going to focus on the last weekend of 2017.

As soon as Christmas is over I like to focus on the new year that is approaching and get my mindset for new beginnings, as well as looking back at the year that's been and remember the good things. The thing that stood out the most to me in 2017 was our trip to Morocco. I tend not to have lots of New Year's resolutions but it's a great time to refocus my mind. Some of the things I definitely want to focus more are my blogging this year and be more organised.

Another thing is my hairdressing. I want to do more creative stuff and weddings. I want to improve my skills and try new things.

I had a great opportunity the last couple of days to be part of a two-day photo shoot for a new exciting sustainable and fair-trade fashion brand. I can’t wait to share more in the near future.

The shoot was located at various underground stations around Stockholm. The Stockholm underground been made into an art gallery and some of the stations looks amazing.

We then finished the year with hosting a small party with some friends and neighbours to welcome the new year! Such a wonderful way to celebrate.

I’m looking forward to seeing what 2018 has in store. The first thing that’s coming is a trip to Kalmar in the south of Sweden to see our friends this coming weekend.

Wishing you a happy new year! What are some of the things you want to do in 2018?
