My winter evening skin routine

Friday 23 February 2018

I’ve changed my evening routine recently. Mainly because it’s so cold and my skin is craving extra nourishment. Its easy get dehydrated in the winter, which is not a good look. I wanted to share my new skin routine as I’m using some new products I’ve recently discovered too. All vegan and organic of course

Nadur cleanser *
Lately, I’ve been using an oil cleanser from Nadur. It’s a new brand from Ireland. I’ve been trying their Genie oil cleanser recently. It’s a gentle cleanser that easily lifts the dirt and makeup from the skin. I find that it’s not drying out the skin at all but almost moisturises the skin at the same time, which is great in the winter when I need all the moisture I can get. It cost £25.50 for a 200ml bottle.

Ihana - Beri-activ regenerating facial oil *
I just recently started using this Regenerating oil from Ihana, but even just a few weeks in I can tell it’s lovely on my skin. It comes with a big price tag of £46 but If you can afford it, it’s definitely worth it. It’s rich in fatty acids and antioxidants which makes the skin glow in the morning and feel amazing. Some of the ingredients are seven different arctic berry oils for example like cloudberry, cranberry, lingonberry and raspberry. Great as an anti-inflammatory and for anti-ageing. I’m looking forward to using it every evening and wake up looking fresh and ready for the day.

Bowe Organics - lash oil *
I recently did a review of this gorgeous lash oil from Bowe Organics, which you can read here. I’ve been using this on my lashes as well as a oil for my fine lines around the eyes and I’ve been loving it. The price is £20 but lasts such a long time and it actually works.

Bare Origin - Linden flower toner
I’ve been mentioning the oils from Bare Origin quite a bit. Now it’s time for their Linden flower toner. It's lovely and 100% natural and only £15. Linden flower or Tilia is a large ancient tree. The toner is refreshing and also works as an anti-inflammatory which helps to soothe irritated skin and to rebalance the PH level of the skin. It’s lovely to apply throughout the day when the skin needs a little pick me up.

Madara -SOS hydra mask
This Madara SOS hydra mask is a wipe-off or leave-on treatment. I’ve been using it as a wipe-off, leaving it on my skin for 20 min before I wash it off. It has a lovely velvety feel and a soft pink colour to it. This is perfect for dry winter skin as it gives a boost of hydration and the skin feels much healthier and moisturised right away. It’s amazing when your skin looks gloomy as it often does this time of year. It has been a saviour for me and I’m happy I received it in LoveLula’s beauty box. The individual price is £
