Beauty Favourites from Green Beauty Day and Stockholm Beauty Week

Wednesday 4 July 2018

Back in May, I went to both Stockholm Beauty Week and Green Beauty Day. I always have a great time as there are always new Green Beauty brands to discover with a mixture of old favourites.

Green Beauty Day is organised by Naturligt Snygg. The big star of the event is Hannah Sjöström that started Naturligt Snygg a few years ago and is a big Green Beauty Guru in Sweden. She recently also came out with her second book Hello Glow.
It's an event for the public to have the opportunity to look at and Squeeze all the wonderful organic and natural beauty products that normally you can only find online.
Some of my old favourites were there like Neal's Yard Remedies, ZAO, Inika, and Loelle. The event ends with the Green Beauty Awards.

Stockholm Beauty week is a three-day event for the Beauty Industry. I only went the first day. In the forefront stands the lovely Maria Forssen. There's a great opportunity to meet all the brands. It's not all organic and natural, but each year you can see it's growing and more and more green brands come forward. It was great to see some favourites like Zuii, Yarok, C/o Gerd and Tata Harper there.

One of the first things I played my eyes on at Stockholm Beauty Week was Jolie beauty. The reason why I noticed them was because I saw some of my favourite brands at their table. Like Rahua and Isla Apotechary. They gave me a goodie bag with some wonderful products from Patyka, Warpaint, Whamisa (another favourite of mine) and Pai.

I also had a great chat with Rosenserien and got to try some lovely products from them. a carrot oil and also a great foot cream that's wonderfully cooling for tired feet.

Tree of brands were at both Stockholm Beauty Week and Green Beauty day with all their incredible products. I've spoken about Marina Miracle before. I'm also a fan of LIP, some gorgeous intimate care products. New for this year was Chia, an Australian hair care brand, I will talk about these later but so far I really like them. Also worth to mention is Viridi Eco, a Swedish brand. I got a sample of their cherry blossom body butter. It's seriously the best smelling body butter I've used in years. I just finished it and need to purchase a new one.

Maria Ã…kerberg was also at both events and even though I mentioned her many times before it's worth to mention their Papaya peeling that's such a lovely peeling and it won the product of the year during Green Beauty Awards. It makes my skin feeling so lovely and soft afterwards.

I also discovered some French brands on Green Beauty day, like Beauty Garden and Boho Green. Not everything is vegan but they had some lovely products and I particularly liked a nail polish from Boho Green.

I've discovered lot's of wonderful brands and products and looking forward to sharing more with you soon.

What are some new beauty discoveries you've done recently?
