My Winter Skincare Routine

Monday 11 February 2019

We are in the middle of the winter and as always my skin pays for it. My skin easily gets dry in the winter with the cold dry air in Stockholm. I did a similar post last winter on my 5 winter survival green beauty products which are worth to check out. Here's a list of my skincare winter saviours that's been helping me so far this winter and it's including some of my favourite brands.

Barr - Multivitamin Facial mask
Barr is a Swedish brand that I’ve been loving every product by for the last couple of years. This Multivitamin Facial mask is the latest addition and it’s just as amazing as their other products. It’s cleansing and nourishing at the same which makes it perfect for tired and dry winter skin. I also find it leaves a gorgeous glow on my skin. The mask is creamy and easy to apply. I love these masks for a lazy day, but I know that I still need to look after my skin. I also love how beautiful the packaging is. All Barr's products are so pretty and I feel they’ve really captured the Swedish nature in their products.

C/O Gerd - Cloudberry face serum
Another great Swedish brand and I think this is my favourite of their products. This Cloudberry face serum is incredible. After just a few uses I could see a big difference in my skin. It looks less tired and gloomy. It's a proper pick-me-up boost and I feel and look so fresh after been using the cloudberry serum. I can't recommend it more.

Patyka - Lotus face cream
I was given this Lotus face cream in a goodie bag a while ago but just recently got to it. It's a French brand and I loved it from first use. It smells gorgeous and just loved applying it to my skin. It's moisturising and properly hydrates the skin. I can feel the difference in an instant. It can easily be used as both a day and night cream. It has made me curious to try more of Patyka's products.

Lyonsleaf - Marshmallow face oil
I normally always going on about Lyonsleaf body butter and how great it is. But I must say their Marshmallow face oil is just as good. It smells lovely and makes my skin feel smooth. I thought it would be great to use this oil in the winter as all their other products are real winter saviours. I think it was a good choice.

Isla Apothecary - skin balm
I also thought I share a body care product too as it’s crucial to look after all of your skin in the winter. And I was sent this skin balm from Isla Apothecary Just before Christmas and I’ve been loving it. You only need a tiny bit as it goes a long way. It melts on the skin and makes my skin silky smooth. A proper review is coming soon on this and a couple of other products from Isla Apotechary.

What are some of your favourite winter products?
