As I just about recovered from Stockholm Beauty Week it was time again and this time it's Green Beauty day. It was Sweden's first green beauty fair and organised by Naturligt Snygg. Hannah and her crew did an amazing job. It was held in the centre of Stockholm and a perfect venue. It was so exciting to see some of my favourite brands and I really had to hold my wallet tightly. I could easily have spent all of my life savings in there. I did buy Zao's new eyeshadow palette though. It was too beautiful to resist.
Efter jag lyckats återhämta mig efter Stockholm Beauty Week var det dags igen och den här gången är det Green Beauty day. Det var Sveriges första gröna skönhetsmässa och var organiserad av Naturligt snygg. Hannah och hennes gäng gjorde ett fantastiskt jobb. Det var i en perfekt lokal på Klara strand i centrala Stockholm. Det var så spännande att få se många av mina favoritmärken och jag fick hålla hårt i plånboken. Jag kunde lätt ha spenderat alla mina besparingar. Men jag köpte Zaos nya ögonskugga palett. Den var för fin för att låta bli.
I was happy to see John Masters organics and Care of Gerd there as we stock their hair products in the hair salon (Ecohair) I work in.
Jag var glad att se John Masters organics och Care of Gerd där eftersom vi säljer dem på salongen (Ecohair) jag jobbar på.
It wasn't only a chance to buy some amazing green beauty products for a good price, but there was also some great talks. I was most excited about hearing Fran Johnson from Neal's Yard remedies in the UK.
Det var inte bara en chans att få shoppa fantastiska ekologiska produkter för ett bra pris, men det var även föreläsningar. Jag såg mest framemot att lyssna på Fran Johnson från Neal's Yard remedies i UK.
The day ended with the Organic Beauty Awards. I just want to congratulate all the brands that won. Some of the products I'll be blogging about shortly.
Dagen avslutades med Organic Beauty awards. Jag säger ett stort grattis till alla som vann.

Det kan ibland vara svårt att hitta bra naturligt och ekologiskt smink. Eftersom det är organic beauty week tänkte jag dela med mig av mina favorit smink märken.
Packed in gorgeous bamboo makes me like Zao's makeup even more. Their lipsticks are my favourite but I'm a huge fan of their mascara too. They're great at labeling their products on their website so perfect for people with allergies or vegans. What I also like is that most of their stuff you can buy as refill so even less waste.
Den snygga Bambuförpackningen gör att gillar Zao så mycket mer. Deras läppstift är mina favoriter, men stort fan av deras mascara också. De är fantastiskt bra att märka ut sina varor så perfekt för personer med allergier eller veganer. Vad jag också gillar är att man kan köpa refill så det blir ännu mindre avfall.
A French brand that wants to make organic cosmetics affordable but still with good quality. I recently started using these and I'm very impressed so far. You can watch my video on my first impressions here. If you're on a budget you must check out Avril. My favourites are the blushers.

A luxury brand from New Zealand. It's some of the best quality makeup I've ever used. Beautiful makeup and they do amazing eyeshadow palettes.
Most of my makeup brushes are from Lily Lolo. I'm actually due to make an order from them and on the list is their mascara that I've heard so much good things about. I can't wait.

A Swedish brand for all you swedes. I used a lot of their makeup and I think their foundations are perfect for Scandinavian skin tones. Their lipsticks are gorgeous too. Maria Åkerberg is affordable and has a wide range of products. Worth checking out if ever in Sweden.

Jag har varit så upptagen det senaste med jobb, planerar min flytt till Sverige och förbereder mig inför min halvmara i Göteborg. Jag kom hem en kväll och kände att jag behövde lite time out.
I decided to finish off the last of my Saachs organics herbal powder. It's an intense hair treatment.
I love the feeling of my hair after this treatment. It feels thicker and gives it more volume, which last for a few days.
Jag bestämde mig för göra slut på det sista jag hade kvar av Saach organics herbal powder. Det är en intensiv hår mask. Jag älskar känslan av hur mitt hår känns efter behandlingen. Det känns tjockare och ger håret mer volym, vilket håller i sig i flera dagar.
I made myself a coffee scrub out of only three ingredients. Coffee, sugar and coconut oil. For me this is a big treat as it awakens all my senses. It smells so good and the skin feels soft after.
I cream myself with Neals yard remedies Beauty sleep, which feels so indulging. It's so thick and creamy and the Rose is calming. Perfect for a relaxing evening.
Jag gjorde min egen kaffeskrubb utav bara tre ingredienser. Kaffe, socker och kokosolja. Det är en härlig treat för mig, eftersom det väcker alla sinnen. Det luktar så gott och huden känns len efteråt.
Jag smörjde in mig med Neals yard remedies Beauty sleep, vilket känns så lyxigt . Den är så tjock och krämig och lukten av ros är lugnande. Perfekt för en avslappnande kväll.
For the face I use my two favorite products at the moment. My eye cream from Maria Åkerberg for the sensitive area around my eyes. For the rest of my face I use Green People's Beauty Boost skin restore. Which is like having a mini facial. It's been so good for my skin lately. För resten av ansiktet smörjer jag in mig med Green People's Beauty boost skin restore. Vilket är som en mini ansiktsbehandling . Den har varit så bra för min hud det senaste. I walked into the kitchen to make myself a cup of tea. I then spent the rest of the evening in bed, enjoying my cup of tea, my favorite chocolate and a good book.
Jag gick till köket och gjorde mig en kopp te. Sen spenderade jag resten av kvällen i sängen, njutandes av min kopp te, min favorit choklad och en bra bok.

I always use natural and organic product and of course cruelty free.
Idag tänkte jag visa er dagens smink. Jag ska bara ta det lugnt och träffa några vänner och vill som vanligt ha en naturlig look.
Jag använder alltid naturliga och ekologiska produkter och så klart djurvänligt.
I love my new Lily Lolo makeup brushes. They're soft and applies the makeup so well. I think my favourite is the blusher brush so far.
Jag älskat mina nya Lily Lolo smink borstar. De är mjuka och applicerar sminket så väl. Jag tror min favorit än så länge är blusher.
For my foundation I'm going all out with my favourite brand Maria Åkerberg. I'm using liquid foundation cold and loose powder pure beige.
Till min foundation är det min favorit Maria Åkerberg hela vägen som gäller. Jag använder liquid foundation cold och löst puder pure beige.
Living Nature* summer bronze pressed powder and Lavera blusher velvet plum.
For eyes I'm trying out my new eye shadow palette from Lily Lolo, smoke & mirrors. As eyeliner I use Maria Åkerberg black and Zao mascara.
Till ögonen provar jag min nya ögonskugga paljett från Lily Lolo, smoke & mirrors. Jag använder Maria Åkerberg svart kajal penna och Zao mascara.

We often hear Parabens are bad for us and we should choose Paraben free products. But why are they bad and why should we avoid them? Today I'm looking in to Parabens with a magnifying glass and hopefully make things a bit clearer.
What are Parabens?
Parabens are cheap and effective preservatives. Parabens are used to make products last longer. They kill mold and fungus for longer and that way dramatically extend the shelf life of many beauty and health care items and stops them going bad too quickly.
Why are Parabens bad?
Many studies have been done on the most common Paraben chemicals like
• methylparaben
• ethylparaben
• propylparaben
• butylparaben
• isobutylparaben
According to the studies parabens may be bad to your harm health. By contributing to the development of cancerous tumours. There are differing views on this subject from a range of medical researchers. There is the question that these chemicals are found in some cancerous tumour tissue. The links between Parabens and cancer (specifically breast cancer) are of concern to people.
There is a worry that Parabens can be stored in the body and over time they could have a cumulative effect and damage health over time.
While there is currently no scientific evidence to confirm that Parabens directly causes cancer. It's right to be mindful. Do you want to take the risk? I know I don't.
Where do I find Parabens?
Parabens are found in over three-quarters of beauty and health care products. Almost any typical beauty or health care aide. May contain these chemicals, unless it's specifically labelled "Paraben-free".
Parabens are found in most haircare and skincare products like
• Shampoos & conditioners
• Moisturisers
• Sunscreens
• Toothpaste
• Mascara
And many other cosmetics.
Alternatives to Parabens
Paraben-free products may contain ingredients, such as organic-acids, that help to preserve formulas without harmful side effects. Examples of organic acids used in the place of Parabens include
• diazolidinyl urea
• sodium benzoate
• potassium sorbate
Always read the labels on products. But safest is always to go for products that are labelled Paraben-free.
If you want to play it extremely safe, use a few oil-based organic products that don't contain water (which calls for a preservative). They often come in dark containers with a pump so that light and air don't degrade them quickly. Just make sure you use them within their use-by date.
Conclusion
While the evidence is not completely satisfactory regarding the safety of Parabens in cosmetics. I think it's important to be aware and make choices of avoiding these toxins for your own health. Choose Paraben-free products.

Today is exactly one week until my birthday. So I thought I'll share my organic beauty wish list with you.
On turning 31 this year. When I was younger, I used to hate it when my parents said they didn't want anything for their birthday. How could someone not want everything. I could go into any shop and pick out at least 10 things I wanted. As I've grown older I'm finding myself becoming more like my parents. When friends and family asks me what I want for my birthday, I can't really think of anything I want. The only thing I always want is organic beauty and makeup products. So here is my wish list for my 31st birthday.
1) Kjaer Weis - the essential trio
To be honest if, I get anything from Kjaer Weis I'll be happy. I'm yet to try her stylish and amazing (so I heard) products.
2) ZAO organic makeup - lipstick
You might have noticed me ramble on about ZAO lipsticks on various social media. I love them so much I want more. I also would like to try more of their products. So I've added to my wish list the compact foundation as well.
3) Olympus pen - camera
It might not pass as a beauty product. But I will be able to take beautiful pictures of all my makeup.
4) Kerstin Tillberg - mug
Ok, another non beauty related product. But it's so pretty and how cool would I look if I was sipping my tea from this in my videos. It's a perfect beauty prop for my blog.
5) Suti - face cream
This is my favourite face cream of all times and I would love a new bottle as I've recently finished one.
6) Couleur Caramel - blusher
I keep hearing about this brand and would love to try some of their products. I need a new blusher and how cute is this packaging?
7) Maria Åkerberg - eyeshadows
There's no secret I love Maria Åkerberg's products. And I want some new eye shadows. To be honest I want them all.
